Maryam Oskoui, MD, PhD

Dr. Maryam Oskoui is Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Neurology and Neurosurgery at McGill University, Scientist at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre, and Director of Pediatric Neurology at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. She is a Senior Clinical Research Scholar of the FRQ-S with a focus in clinical research and clinical trials in pediatric neuromuscular disorders. Dr. Oskoui is a principal investigator on two CIHR supported pediatric rare disease trials networks: she serves as SMA lead for INFORM RARE, and co-leads the health technology assessment and economics sub-platform for RareKids-CAN. As an epidemiologist, Dr. Oskoui also serves as a consultant methodologist on the American Academy of Neurology’s Guideline development subcommittee.
